This sound deck packet features cards with graphemes that you can use to help your students practice reading sounds daily. Aligned with the Science of Reading, these cards are a great tool to use as a warmup activity, for review, intervention and more! The size of the cards are either one quarter of a page in size or one third of a page in size (depending on which option you choose).
There are 2 options included: 3 cards to a page or 4 cards to a page, so simply pick your preference and print away! Each option includes cards with or without words. There are blank cards included as well when students no longer need picture support.
How to Use:
Only include the sounds in the deck that your students are currently learning. To use the sound deck, simply hold up a card and have the student say the letter name, the picture name and finally the sound. Here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AHT6eL6M5M
For a multi-sensory experience, have the students write the letter simultaneously in sand or in the air with their finger. As students master a sound, you can remove it from the deck and add new sounds as students learn them.
